Customer service is a top priority for us

From the very beginning, we try to support you competently with our expertise.

We work closely with our cooperation partners and assembly companies. At the same time we get a personal impression of the actual situation of your company directly on site. We also assist you in discussions with customers.

You have questions, we help. Therefore, we have compiled a list of the most frequently asked questions or problems that arise.

Of course, there are always new questions that we do not go into here, but our employees will be happy to advise you on the phone.

The main difference is the Surfaseal surface.

The pore-free surface is guaranteed by a polyester film that is incorporated into the Glasbord® surface using a special process technology.

This prevents the penetration of germs, bacteria and chemicals and protects the material from discoloration.

With textured material, unevenness and scratches are not so obvious, repairs hardly visible.

Slower run-off of cleaning foam ≈ longer exposure time ≈ lower dosage.

Creates pleasant working conditions and reduces eye fatigue due to diffuse light reflection.

Plane material is easier to print, label and stick on.

The substrate, adhesive and panels must be at room temperature, at least 10°Celsius.

If the room is later operated at higher temperatures, the panels should be heated up to this temperature if possible (min. 24 hours) due to thermal expansion.

The substrate must be load-bearing, free of grease and dust.

Never bond to wet substrates (pressing water).

The adhesive surface of the panels (rear side) must also be cleaned (Hydewa Cleaner).

Keep an expansion joint of approx. 6 mm all around “floating” installation.

It is essential to observe the technical data sheets!

The choice of insulation thickness depends on various factors:

Is it an interior wall or interior insulation of an exterior wall?

What is the temperature of the adjacent rooms? What room temperature is required? What is the temperature of the refrigerated goods during storage? What is the quantity of the refrigerated goods to be stored? What is the vapor pressure, or condensation risk?

In general, you can use EPS 100 mm insulation thickness for cold rooms and 240 mm for deep-freeze rooms for your preliminary planning. These element thicknesses have proven themselves in practice.

A final assessment must be made by an air conditioning specialist.

The possible spans depend on numerous factors. Talk to us individually about possible spans.

Our maximum production length is 12m. For coated steel panels, we manufacture maximum 8.5m.

The standard construction width is 1190 mm, with sheet back 1206 mm or with coated steel panels 1150 mm.

If hard joints are to be used for direct bonding, the climatic conditions must first be clarified. In case of large temperature or humidity fluctuations, use soft jointing (hps-1c)!

For sandwich panels, we recommend hard jointing.

According to DIN 52460, a maintenance joint is a joint exposed to strong chemical and / or physical influences, the sealant of which must be checked at regular intervals and renewed if necessary to prevent consequential damage.

While in the past the vertical joints of the panels were covered with strips, today the “open” jointing is favored. For visible jointing, best results are achieved if the panel joint edges are covered with an adhesive tape before jointing. This joint cover tape can be applied ex works on request and for an additional charge.

Since our panels are only suitable for interior use, they are not UV-resistant or weatherproof. Therefore, improper storage (outdoors) may result in color differences.

The panels may differ by nuances from batch to batch. In addition, there is a slight darkening due to aging.

On non-stock plate goods (e.g. Designs & Varietex) minimum order quantity 6 plates.

Do not store above 50°C or below -40°C.

Protect from sunlight (UV radiation and moisture.

Never cut the protective film on the panel surface because of scratching.

Always store panels lying on their transport feet.

Never stack more than 2 pallets on top of each other.
